Among them is the </span><a href="http://web.mit.edu/technique/www/scans/1928_Freshman_Gray_Book.pdf" target="_blank" style="font-size:12.8px">1928 Freshman Gray Book</a><span style="font-size:12.8px">, which was given to freshmen to help acquaint them with each other and with the Institute. Starting on page 52, you can see Technique's run-down of which clubs, sports, etc. are important, and a description of the once-famous MIT Field Day! (Field Day has and could be the subject of /many/ essays.
