<span style="font-family:Times New Roman">As MIT continues in its search for a 17th president, we, the student advisory group to the Corporation search committee, are actively involved in providing the student opinion on the future of MIT and the next president.
An early goal of the student advisory group was to listen to the student community about what challenges and opportunities lay in MIT's future as well as the desired traits, skills, and attributes of the 17th president. This morning, we shared our preliminary
draft report to the search committee and are now sharing it with the student community.</span>
