<div><font size="2">As you know, President Susan Hockfield recently announced her resignation, and MIT is currently involved in the process to find and select its 17th president. Students are encouraged to be part of the process through <b>public student forums</b> on
campus over next two weeks, as well as <b>online feedback.</b></font></div>

<div><font size="2">We strongly encourage all students to get involved in the process. This exercise is not only an opportunity to identify the traits desired in the next president of MIT, but also an opportunity for students to identify key issues affecting
students in the coming decade as well as communicate, identify, and affirm the values and priorities of MIT going into the future. <span>The results of your input will likely last for several years, if not decades, after you graduate.</span></font></div>
