We need your help. Win one of twenty $20 Tech Cash Prizes!</p><p align="" class="" style="margin-right: 0pt; margin-left: 0pt; ">The General Institute Requirements (GIRs) form the foundation of our courses of study at MIT. The Faculty has from time to time modified these requirements, and after more than three years of review and study by MIT faculty members and undergraduate students, <i>a new set of proposed changes to the GIRs will be presented before the faculty for a vote in December</i>.
