Dear Undergraduates,

It is my great pleasure to begin working for the undergraduate student
body as your UA President Elect. Many undergraduates have worked
long hours to make MIT a better place to learn and live and I'm confident
that we will continue to do so next year.

As the semester draws to a close, there are several UA positions that we
need to fill. Each offers a unique opportunity to work with
dedicated students, faculty and administrators to better the
Institute. The five executive officers are:

- Treasurer
- Secretary General
- Coordinator of IT
- Class Council Coordinator
- Chairman of Public Relations

The executive officers are appointed by the President and work closely
with the President and Vice President to set the direction of the
UA. In addition, various committees address specific aspects of
student life at MIT. The Chairs are selected by their respective
committees and approved by the President. Each of these groups are
directly responsible for bringing about change on campus by working
closely with the administration. Current cabinet committees
are:

- Athletics
- Housing and Orientation
- Student Life
- Dining
- Events
- Nominations
- Public Relations
- Educational Policy

Below are links to the descriptions of each position along with their
respective applications. I encourage all undergraduates to take
some time to look over them and consider applying.
