Hi everyone,

If you've looked through our yearbooks from previous years, you'll see that we always have a section for group portraits of many (hopefully all!) of the dorms, fraternities, sororities, and independent living groups that MIT undergrads live in. Of course it's a lot of work to go to all of these living groups, so we need people to help out with taking the photos.

Generally we send two photographer for each of the shoots: one who has done an LG shoot before, and another who is new to Technique. This is a great opportunity to become involved in the yearbook if you are a freshman or have recently joined. Plus, we actually pay you 10$ for each photo shoot, which is more than the design editor makes for designing the whole book.

So, every week I will be sending out the LG schedule for the coming weekend. If you are interested or have questions, email me personally and let me know which shoots you can make. ALSO if you are are new to Technique and went to the tutorial last Saturday about lighting, let me know in the email, because I will give you priority this weekend.

Schedule for this weekend:

ZBT ----------- Friday October 1st, 7:00 PM

Phi Delta Theta ----------- Sunday October 3rd, 1:00 PM
Theta Chi ----------- Sunday October 3rd, 4:00 PM
Pi Lambda Phi ----------- Sunday October 3rd, 5:00 PM
Burton 3rd ----------- Sunday October 3rd, 6:00 PM

One last thing: Please email the president/house chair/authority figure of your living group to urge them to sign up for the living group photo! Information and the sign-up form can be found on our website: http://yearbook.scripts.mit.edu/newsite/lg/
