<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">As you might know Institute chaplains have been given the possibility of conducting one outdoor event this month. After consultation with the TCC Council, the decision was made to request permission for an
outdoor Mass on Sunday, May 9, 2021 at 10:00am. Our request has been given <b><u>tentative</u></b> approval. My hope is that early this week our request will complete the approval process. In anticipation of approval the following COVID rules we emailed
to me:<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><b><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Rules for these outdoor spaces are:<o:p></o:p></span></b></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">* Only COVID-Pass authorized MIT community members in attendance<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">* Stay at least 6 feet apart in compliance with physical distancing guidelines<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">* Wear a mask or face covering<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">* Have your MIT ID visible<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">* Stay in the assigned space<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">* Clean furniture and other surfaces before and after use with the spray bottles provided<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">* No alcohol allowed<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">* Please respect the end time for this gathering as others may be using the space soon after your gathering ends<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">To comply with physical distancing rules we will need to have a signup to attend this Mass (similar to parishes). Maximum number of attendees will depend on the outdoor space allotted to us. We have requested
the Stata Amphitheater, but that doesn’t mean it will be available to us.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
