<tt>This Bible Study meets on Thursdays at 8:30 in McCormick. It
usually runs
for about an hour. The format of the study is basically reading,
meditating on,
and discussing the Gospel for the following Sunday's Mass during the
first
part, and then either listening to or reading something of Catholic
interest
and discussing it.</tt><br>

<tt>- Interdenominational Scripture Study</tt><br>
<tt>Interested in discussing Scripture with other Catholics and

Christians? This study chooses topics in advance about which Catholics

other Christians usually disagree and then seeks to come to a better
understanding of these through Scripture as well as readings from the

Church Fathers. It meets every other Thursday in W11 starting 10/6 from

<tt>Nick Hurt from the <st1:City w:st="on">Alliance</st1:City> for
Catholic
Education (ACE) based at <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:PlaceName w:st="on">Notre
Dame</st1:PlaceName> <st1:PlaceType w:st="on">University</st1:PlaceType></st1:place>
will be coming to campus this Wed. to provide some information on the
program
to students at MIT. To give you a snapshot of ACE, it is a two-year
graduate/service program devoted to teaching in under resourced
Catholic
schools in the southern <st1:country-region w:st="on"><st1:place
w:st="on">United States</st1:place></st1:country-region>. While
teaching full-time, ACE
teachers live in community with 3-6 other current ACE teachers and work
toward
earning a Master in Education degree from Notre Dame through course
work at
Notre Dame for two summers and on-line work during the school year. The
meeting
will be at 9:00PM this Wed. in room 5-231.</tt><br>

<tt>The Archdiocese of <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:City w:st="on">Boston</st1:City></st1:place>
has endorsed VoteOnMarriage.org, a committee formed for the purpose of
sponsoring the Massachusetts Protection of Marriage Amendment. If you
are
a registered Massachusetts voter and wish to participate in the
signature drive
to get this amendment on the 2008 ballot, please visit <a

<tt>- Boston Catholic Men's Conference</tt><br>

privilege of
attending this Conference last year and it was absolutely amazing and
this year
it looks even better. On top of the awesome speaker's lineup, the price
for
registering before 12/31/05 is only $10 for students. I'd like to try
and get a
large group to come out from MIT. They also discount pricing for
groups, so
it'd be great if you could get back to me to let me know if you're
interested
and I could register everyone as a group. Hope many of you would be
able to
make it out for this awesome experience (there were already 300 men
signed up

Evert, at several schools within the archdiocese. MIT has been invited

attend one of these presentations taking place at BC High on Sunday
Dec. 9. The
event will begin with Mass at 9:00 AM which will be followed by Evert's
