On Becoming a Catholic at MIT: Our Seminars – RCIA – Begin October 30th at 11:00am in W11, Main Dining Room.

On Sunday, October 30th, at 11:00AM – 12:30pm in W11, Main Dining Room, the MIT Catholic community will begin our seminars on learning more about the Catholic Faith for those who are interested in becoming Catholic. Most of our meetings will take place on Sundays, 3:30pm – 4:45pm in W11. However on Sunday, October 30th, we will join the larger Tech Catholic Community at a lecture – given by Fr Michael – on the Nicene Creed. The Creed is a statement of beliefs held by the Catholic Church. It is a great place to begin learning about, and deepening understanding of the Catholic Faith. More information may be found at https://mitcatholic.org/why-catholic or by emailing Father Michael: mmedas at mit.edu<mailto:mmedas at mit.edu> By the way, RCIA stands for Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults. This process of learning more about the Catholic Faith has its root in the time of the original twelve apostles, the early Church.

Have you been thinking about becoming a Catholic?
Already Catholic and people mentioned to you that they wish they had your faith? Invite them to join this year’s RCIA!
Here is an opportunity for you or someone you know to learn more about becoming Catholic.

Blessings and peace,

Fr Michael

“Jesus loves you always, even when you don’t feel worthy.
When not accepted by others, even by yourself sometimes,
He is the one who always accepts you. Only believe, you are precious to Him.
Bring all you are suffering to His feet, only open your heart to be loved by Him as you are.
He will do the rest.” Saint Mother Teresa
