Friends,

I am pleased to bring to your attention this lecture opportunity by the University of Oxford, Laudato Si Research Institute: Lecture 12 Nov 2020, Noon EST

The Laudato Si’ Research Institute’s distinctive contribution is to bring cutting-edge academic research into dialogue with the concrete perspectives of policy-makers and practitioners. They provide a unique opportunity to challenge, enrich and refine current academic thinking on the post-COVID world by bringing it into conversation with those who are on the ground and in the midst of the trouble.

In this dialogue, join Augusto Zampini-Davies (Adjunct-Secretary, Vatican Dicastery for Promoting Integral Human Development) and Christine Allen (Director, CAFOD) as they explore how global society might envisage a new, post-COVID socio-economic-cultural future.

Each dialogue will last for 45 minutes. There will be a chance for questions from the audience. Videos of the dialogues will be made available afterwards.

For more information or to register (free) to attend the dialogue: https://lsri.campion.ox.ac.uk/events/downtoearth-dialogue-1

Blessings and peace,
