No 12:05 PM Mass on Thursday, 11/14, due to Gold Mass.

Gold Mass for Scientists November 14 at 7:30 PM/MIT Chapel, the Tech Catholic Community and the Society of Catholic Scientists (www.catholicscientists.org) are sponsoring the 4th annual Gold Mass for Scientists, celebrating the Feast of St. Albert the Great, Patron Saint of Scientists. Fr. George Salzmann, OSFS, Ph.D., the graduate Chaplain at Harvard (and SCS member), will be the main celebrant. There will be a reception to follow in the student center.

Come to the Waters of Healing: A Retreat for Hope & Healing After Abortion Saturday, November 16, 2019 9:00AM –5:00 PM. Sponsored by the Project Rachel Ministry -Archdiocese of Boston. Location is confidential. Requested donation of $10 to cover lunch cost. Pre-registration is required. Limited to 10 participants. In preparation for All Souls Day, there will be a book set out after each Mass for people to write down names of those who have passed away. The names will be read aloud during a Memorial Mass in November and we will pray for all of them.

Melchizedek Group for Priestly Vocations: Fr. Moloney will lead a discussion group about the nature of the priestly vocation and how to discern if God is calling you to the “order of Melchizedek” (Heb. 5:6, 7:17) using the book To Save a Thousand Souls. We meet on Mondays 5-6PM. To attend doesn’t mean that you are thinking about entering the seminary, or even that you’re not dating. It can simply mean that you’re interested in supporting others think about the priesthood.  Contact mteodros at mit.edu<mailto:mteodros at mit.edu> if interested. Books are available from Father's office in W11.

Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA) and Course in the Fundamentals of the Catholic Faith: Fr. Moloney will be offering a class in the fundamentals of the Catholic faith on Sundays @ 11:15 AM in W11/SDR.. It is required for those in becoming Catholic, being Baptized, receiving First Communion, or being Confirmed (who should also reach out to Fr. Moloney to set up a time to talk individually (dmoloney at mit.edu<mailto:dmoloney at mit.edu>).

Women's Marriage Discussion Group. This group meets every other week to discuss marriage as a vocation. It is open to all women (i.e. you do not need to be married). Please email tcc.marriage.vocation at gmail.com for additional details or to be added to the group's listerv. Dinner will be served and kids are welcome!

The grad men's and women's groups will be holding weekly Bible studies during the semester.
