*FAQ*

*What is a Gold Mass for Scientists?*
The Gold Mass for Scientists was established in 2016 by the Society of
Catholic Scientists, with the hope of creating spiritual fellowship among
Catholic scientists and science educators at the local level. The first
Gold Mass was held HERE AT MIT
<https://www.thebostonpilot.com/article.asp?ID=177861> in 2016!
It was established in keeping with the tradition of special Masses for
members of particular professions, such as the Red Mass for lawyers and
lawmakers (est. 13th century) or the White Mass for healthcare
professionals (est. 1930s). [Taken from the SCS
