For our Tech Catholic talk this week, we will continue the discussion begun by Prof. Stephen Meredith on the use of the terms 'soul' and 'human nature' in biology and other sciences. Monday, March 12, 8:15 in the Main Dining Room of W11. Pizza will be served.

During Lent Stations of the Cross at 6:45pm every Wednesday in the MIT Chapel.

=== (5) Want to join the Choir?   ===

We are looking for new singers and instrumentalists (in particular, we are looking for a pianist/organist!) at the TCC Choir. If you want to join, come to one of the rehearsals on Sundays: 8:30am for the 9:30am Mass, 11:30am (and Tue 7-8:30pm) for the 1pm Mass, 4pm for the 5pm Mass. === (6) Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA) and Course in the Fundamentals of the Catholic Faith  ===
Fr. Moloney will be offering a class in the fundamentals of the Catholic faith that will cover everything from the Trinity to Church history to the Sacraments, prayer, and the moral life. It is meant to be both a high-level introduction to the faith appropriate for interested non-Catholics, and a serious review of the faith for those who are Catholics. It is required for those who want to enter the Church. Classes will be held at 2:45pm on Sundays in W11/Small Dining Room. For more info contact (dmoloney at mit.edu<mailto:dmoloney at mit.edu>).
=== (7) Melchizedek Group for Priestly Vocations  ===

  *   Fr. Moloney will lead a reading and discussion group about the nature of the priestly vocation and how to discern if God is calling us to the “ancient order of Melchizedek” (Heb. 5:6, 7:17).
  *   To attend doesn’t mean that you are thinking about entering the seminary, or even that you’re not dating. It can simply mean that you’re interested in supporting others think about the priesthood.
  *   Meeting times TBD; if interested, contact Ricardo J. Rodriguez Garcia (ricardor at mit.edu<mailto:ricardor at mit.edu>).
  *   Books “To Save a Thousand Souls” are available in the office/W11

=== (8) Spouses/Parents Bible Study ===
Open to all parents and married people, the group meets Fridays from 10-11 AM in the W11/Community Room to prepare for the upcoming Sunday’s readings and support each other in fellowship and prayer. Join the TCC every Friday night from 7-9 PM in the W11 Community Room for a free spaghetti supper! This is a time for food, fellowship, and fun. And rosary beforehand in W11 at 6:30.

We serve homeless communities in Back Bay and Cambridge giving out socks, sandwiches, and a friendly presence to folks we come across on the street. When? 6:00 PM on Tuesdays at W11 or 6:00 PM on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays in front of St. Clement's Shrine.  For more info, visit bbmsk.org!
=== (14) Thomistic Philosophy and Natural Science: a Symposium. June 5-June 8, Dominican House of Studies Washington, DC ===
This event will bring together expert scientists and philosophers to discuss the potential compatibility and mutual enrichment of the study of Aquinas’ philosophy of nature and various forms of modern scientific knowledge in physics, biology and neuroscience. Room and board at Theological College will be provided for attendees through the generosity of the Thomistic Institute and the Society of Catholic Scientists. For graduate students and advanced undergraduates in the sciences or philosophy.  Applications will be accepted until April 1st. https://thomisticinstitute.org/events/modernsciencesymposium
