Is this the face of Jesus?

Come see a life-size photocopy of the Shroud

Hear why the Shroud is one of the most studied artifacts of all time, and
discover what scientists at Los Alamos and Sandia have learned

Considered one of the greatest mysteries of our time, the Shroud of Turin
continues to amaze because scientists cannot explain how the image was made
on the cloth. It contains no pigment and the only people who have come
close to replicating it have done so through incredibly fast bursts of UV
light, and the UV light necessary to truly replicate it “exceeds the
maximum power released by all ultraviolet light sources available today,”
according to Paolo Di Lazzaro, one of the principal scientists trying to
replicate the image.

*Bill Wingard, who was mentored by two of the Shroud's principal
scientists, will present the history, the science, the Passion, and the
case for authenticity.* An exact photographic representation of the actual
Shroud that currently resides in Turin, Italy will be available for
viewing. For questions or more information, please email tcc-council at mit.edu
