===(1) Trip to Six Flags New England ===
Saturday, Sept. 30. We will leave at 10:30 AM and will be back home at around 9 PM. First come, first serve for seats on the bus. Tickets and bus transportation are free. Invite your friends! Sign up in the back of the Chapel or email >catholic at mit.edu<<mailto:catholic at mit.edu%3c>

=== (2) Tech Catholic Talk ===
There will be no Tech Catholic Talk on Monday, September 25.

=== (3) Spaghetti Suppers ===
Join the TCC every Friday night from 7-9 pm in the W11 Community Room for a free spaghetti supper! This is a time for food, fellowship, and fun.

=== (4) Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA) and Course in the Fundamentals of the Catholic Faith ===
Fr. Moloney will be offering a class in the fundamentals of the Catholic faith that will cover everything from the Trinity to Church history to the Sacraments, prayer, and the moral life. It is meant to be both a high-level introduction to the faith appropriate for interested non-Catholics, and a serious review of the faith for those who are Catholics. It is required for those who want to enter the Church. Classes will start in early October and run for the rest of the year.
* For those interested in becoming Catholic, being Baptized, receiving First Communion, or being Confirmed, please come to an organizational meeting on Sunday, October 1, at 2:30 PM in W11 / SDR We will discuss the process of receiving these sacraments, and coordinate future meetings. Bring a sponsor or friend if you'd like. If you haven't done so already, also please reach out to Fr. Moloney to set up a time to talk individually (dmoloney at mit.edu<mailto:dmoloney at mit.edu>).

=== (5) Training sessions for Lectors and Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion ===
Fr. Moloney will hold a training session in the MIT Chapel at today, 9/24 @ 2:30 PM and 1 PM on Tue. 9/26 for those who are interested in being lectors. Mon. 9/25 @ 6 PM for those interested in being Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion. Anyone interested can come to either or both.

MIT et Spiritus is a student journal writing about faith and reason as it applies to all aspects of our lives. Call for abstracts: If you would like to write an article or submit poetry/artwork, please send an email with a - 5-10 sentence abstract to etspiritus at mit.edu by Sunday, Oct. 1, with first drafts due by Sunday, Oct. 15. Other ways to get involved are as artists who would like to submit cover artwork, as part of our layout team, or editing, fundraising/budgeting, website management or event planning. Email us at etspiritus at mit.edu and let us know how you would like to serve!

A discernment group for single women considering a vocation to religious life in the Catholic Church. The next meeting is Wednesday, Sept. 27 from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. at St. Clement Eucharistic Shrine in Boston. === (9) BBMSK (Back Bay Mobile Soup Kitchen) ===
We serve homeless communities in Back Bay and Cambridge giving out socks, sandwiches, and a friendly presence to folks we come across on the street. When? 6:00 PM on Tuesdays at W11 or 6:00 PM on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays in front of St. Clement's Shrine. For more info, visit bbmsk.org!

=== (10) Want to join the Choir? ===
You're heartily invited to sing or play an instrument in the TCC Choir! We sing at the Sunday Masses at 9:30 AM (rehearsal 8 :30 AM), at 1 PM (rehearsal 11:30 AM before the Mass, and Thursday 8 -9:30 PM) and at 5 PM (the Praise Band; rehearsal 4 PM). To join, just come to one of the rehearsals! For additional information, contact Piotr Suwara (suwara at mit.edu<mailto:suwara at mit.edu>).
