Hello Tech Catholic Community!


*This is TCC's weekly events email for the week of 9/28.*

*General Announcements:*

*Mass times:*
Sunday Masses at 9:30 AM, 1 PM, and 5 PM
Weekday Masses Tuesdays and Fridays at 12:05 PM
*Daily Mass on Tuesday, September 30 at 12:05 PM will be held in the W11
Community Room.*

*Choir rehearsals start 1 hour before mass.*  *All are welcome.*

*Simple Supper on Sunday, October 5 after the 5 PM Mass in the W11 Community
Room.*

*TCC is starting a rosary playgroup for families with children.*  Come pray
the Rosary and meet other MIT parents.  It will be held Tues. or thurs. at
10 AM in W11-MDR.  If interested contact Kristelle (kangelli at mit.edu) and
mention preferred time.

*Upcoming Events:
*
*Taize Prayer Group meets Tuesday from 7-8 PM in the Chapel.*
Come at 6:30 PM if you play an instrument or would like to rehearse the
music.

*Scripture Study Group Wednesday at 6pm in the W11 Small Dining Room.
*This semester we are doing a lectionary-based study, studying the readings
for the upcoming Sunday.  All are welcome to attend any Wednesday. Please
contact Elizabeth (e_basha at mit.edu) for more information.

*Sacrament of Reconciliation and Adoration - Wednesday at 7 PM.
*The Sacrament of Reconciliation is offered during Eucharistic exposition in
the lower level of the chapel.  Contact Fr. Clancy for more information.

*Please join us for evening prayer in the chapel at 6:40 PM on Mondays,
starting October 13th.*
It will be done in time for Monday Night dinner and speaker.

*Monday Nights - Enjoy a free dinner and discussion at 7 PM.*
September 29th: "Aquinas and the Aristotelian View of the Soul" in Room
1-134.
October 6th: The Disincarnate Human Soul and Intellect in W11

*TCC Fall Retreat October 24-26 at the Franciscan Retreat Center in
Kennebunkport, Maine.*
Depart from W11 at 5 PM on October 24th.
Depart from Kennebunkport at 10 AM on October 26.
No cost for transportation, lodging, or food at the retreat.

*Chaplain to the Institute Bob Randolph is hosting a discussion with Robert
P. Jones*, author of the new book "Progressive & Religious: How Christian,
Jewish, Muslim, and Buddhist Leaders are Moving Beyond the Culture Wars and
Transforming American Public Life". Wednesday October 1 at 7:00pm in the W11
