Hello everyone in the Tech Catholic Community!

This is TCC's weekly events email for the week of 9/07.

General Announcements:

Mass times:
Sunday Masses at 9:30 AM, 1 PM, and 5 PM
Weekday Masses Tuesdays and Fridays at 12:05 PM

Interested in Lectoring?
If you signed up on the survey or you're a lector wanting a refresher course,
please come to the chapel 20 minutes before
each mass on Sunday September 14 for a short meeting.  Contact Elise
(elise at mit.edu) for more information.

If you enjoy music, join the TCC Choir!
Rehearsal starts 1 hour before Mass.  Come to any Mass, any Sunday.  No music
experience required.  Pianists
and instrumentalists especially welcome.  Please contact Elizabeth
(e_basha at mit.edu) with any questions.

Volunteers wanted for Coffee and Donuts.
Volunteers needed for 9:30 AM, 1 PM, and 5 PM masses.  Email Samantha
(sammp at mit.edu) with the mass
time at which you would like to help.

Upcoming Events:

Monday Nights begin September 8th.
There will be a Welcome Dinner to start off the year at 7 PM in the W11 Main
Dining Room.

Taize Prayer Group meets Tuesday from 7-8 PM in the Chapel.  Come at 6:30 PM if
you play an instrument or would like to rehearse the music.

Chaplet of Our Lady of Sorrows at 5 PM on Monday September 15th.
Meditate on the 7 Sorrows the Virgin Mother of God endured
in compassion for the suffering and death of her Son.   Bring Chaplet beads or a
rosary. Email Pat at engelp at mit.edu for more info.

Scripture Study Group Wednesday at 6pm in the W11 Small Dining Room!
This semester we are doing a lectionary-based study, studying the readings for
the upcoming Sunday.  All are welcome to attend any Wednesday.

Sacrament of Reconciliation and Adoration - Wednesday at 7 PM.
The Sacrament of Reconciliation is offered during Eucharistic exposition in the
lower level of the chapel.  Contact Fr. Clancy for more information.

*Due to some technical difficulties, this email was sent out later than
expected.  In the future, TCC emails will be sent out either Sunday or Monday,
