Hello Tech Catholic Community!

This is TCC's weekly events email for the week of 12/07.

*General Announcements:*

*Mass times (two extra masses this week!):*
- Sunday Masses at 9:30 AM, 1 PM, and 5 PM.
*Seasonal Mass on Saturday December 13th at 8 PM in the Chapel.
It will be followed by a Christmas Party at 9 PM in the W11 Dining Room.*
- Weekday Masses Tuesdays and Fridays at 12:05 PM.
*Mass for the Immaculate Conception Monday, December 8th at 12:05 PM.*

*Choir rehearsals start 1 hour before mass.*  All are welcome.

*Upcoming Events:*

*TCC is participating in this year's PSC Giving Tree!
*Celebrate Christmas by giving a gift to a needy child!  Email jared (
jared at mit.edu) or Elizabeth (e_basha at mit.edu) to get a tag.
Then buy a $15-$25 gift and bring it to mass on December 14th.
There will be a gift wrap party on Monday December 15th at 7 PM.

*There will be an Advent Reconciliation/Confession Service on Tuesday,
December 9th at 7 PM.
*The service will be held in the chapel and include music, scripture,
communal examination of conscience, and the opportunity for individual
confession.

*There will be evening prayer on Monday at 6:40 PM in the Chapel.
*It will be over in time for Monday night dinner.
*
**Monday Night Dinner and Discussion at 7 PM in W11 Main Dining Room.
*This week's topic is the examine prayer.

*Scripture Study Group Wednesday at 6pm in the W11 Small Dining Room.*
This semester we are doing a lectionary-based study, studying the readings
for the upcoming Sunday.  All are welcome to attend any Wednesday. Please
contact Elizabeth (e_basha at mit.edu) for more information.

*Sacrament of Reconciliation and Adoration - Wednesdays at 7 PM.
*The Sacrament of Reconciliation is offered during Eucharistic exposition in
the lower level of the chapel.

*Rosary Playgroup for families with children - Friday at 10AM in
W11/MDR.*Join other parents/spouses and their children in praying the
Rosary.  For

*MIT's pro-life group is starting up again next semester.
*Contact elise at mit.edu to be notified of events or to get more info.

*Once again, there will be a seasonal Mass on December 13th at 8 PM in the
Chapel followed by a Christmas Party at 9 PM in the W11 Dining Room.

Last Sunday Masses will be on December 14th and resume on January 11th,
2009.
Last Weekday Masses end Friday December 12th and resume on February 3rd,
2009
