- Congratulations to Kevin, Tara, and Jesse
Congratulations to Kevin, Tara, and Jesse, who received sacraments at our
Easter Vigil.

- Elections
Elections! Interested in participating more fully in TCC? See the below open
positions and submit nominations to Elizabeth (e_basha) by April 9 at 5pm.
Elections will be held during the April Council Meeting the next day at
10:45am in W11.
Please contact Elizabeth with any questions!
     * Council Chair
TCC Council Chair runs the monthly Council meetings, coordinates all other
ministries and organizes extra events. Events can range from BBQs to speakers
to Holiday Dinners, depending on the Council's interest. The Chair also
petitions the Graduate Student Council for funding and arranges for other
ministry needs. It is a wonderful position, providing an opportunity to help
shape TCC and grow spiritually!
     * Monday Night Coordinator
The TCC Monday Night Coordinator invites guest speakers from the MIT and
greater
Boston community to speak to us about various topics in the Catholic faith over
dinner every Monday night. This semester's activities have included speakers
on Marian devotion and vocations, Bible study, movie viewings, and social
nights. The coordinator plans out the semester's events at the start of the
semester, and recruits volunteers to help prepare the dinner every week. TCC
Monday Nights meet at 7pm in the W11 Main Dining Room, and usually wrap up at
8:30.
     * Service Chair
The Service Chair organizes monthly TCC volunteer activities, which
consists of contacting charitable organizations, coordinating event
details, creating email and poster publicity, and obtaining volunteer
sign-ups through email and/or Mass announcements. In the past we have
worked with Bread & Jams, Cradles to Crayons, Charles River Conservancy,
Rosie's Place, Horizons for Homeless Children, and CASPAR. The Service
Chair also keeps TCC members informed about additional one-time and ongoing
service opportunities in the area through email and Mass bulletins.
     * Prayer Chair
TCC Prayer Chair is responsible for all TCC prayer events short of
scripture study and Mass. This includes scheduling, coordinating, and
attending (at least the majority of the time) morning and evening prayer
daily, Eucharistic Adoration, and any other prayer events that one would
like to coordinate. Usually, coordinating two nights of Adoration a week
(one silent and one with either music, rosary, meditations on Scripture,
etc.) and morning and evening prayer is a fairly decent load in and of
itself, but one may occasionally add other prayer events (prayer walks,
Stations of the Cross, full Rosary nights, etc.) as one feels called. If
there are any questions or concerns about this position they can be
directed to the current Prayer Chair, Joel Fernandez, at joel_f at mit.edu.

If anyone is interested in playing Spring IM sports thru TCC please email
steve_e at mit.edu. Upcoming sports include Billiards, Bowling, Softball, Table
