has been dancing and teaching tango since the 1980s, and studied with the
masters and old milongueros of Buenos Aires. His major influence was the late
Tango maestro Pepito Avellaneda, and Omar was one of his principal disciples. He
was featured at Il Giardino del Tango in Rome and at Tuscany Tango in Monte San
Savino, Italy in Summer 07 and was one of the few maestros selected to teach in
the prestigious Congreso de Tango Argentino (CITA) in Buenos Aires in March
