Hi everyone,

Just reminding you that it's NOT TOO LATE to join us in Philadelphia for an
extraordinary extended weekend (May 28-31) at the Philadelphia
International Tango Festival (http://philadelphiatangofestival.com)

This year's festival features arguably the most important tango teachers
and performers in the world today, GUSTAVO NAVEIRA & GISELLE ANNE. Their
12-hour seminar on "Rhythm, Phrasing & Musicality" is a RITE OF PASSAGE for
anyone who wants to achieve musical mastery in their dancing. The
registration for the seminar has been very strong, with participants coming
from more than 15 states and 3 countries. But there is still space for a
few more couples. Check out the website for help finding a partner
(required).

There are many more great ways to participate in the festival:

** PHENOMENAL dancers/teachers Nick Jones & Diana Cruz will give seven
workshops for intermediate through advanced dancers over the four days;

** The festival offers over 27 hours of practicas and milongas with
STUPENDOUS DJs, including Avik Basu, Jake Spatz, Marc Hussner, Manuk
Colakyan and Adam Hoopengardner, among others!

** Gustavo & Giselle will give a VERY SPECIAL LECTURE on the history of
tango dancing - presented for the first time on the east coast of the US -
"The Unfathomable Histoy of Tango Dancing" - before the Sunday night
milonga.

** MIND-BLOWING performances will be offered each night, including a
special appearance by Philadelphia's premier contemporary ballet company,
BalletX. Gustavo & Giselle and Nick & Diana will perform at the Saturday
night milonga with DJ Jake Spatz.

This year's festival takes place almost exclusively at Christ Church
Neighborhood House, a huge and atmospheric venue in the gorgeous and
historic Old City neighborhood of Center City, Philadelphia. A huge
overflow room will be offered during the milongas, so there will be ample
space to dance.

On the festival registration site, you can purchase any individual workshop
or milonga, and any festival pass, until Sunday, May 24 at midnight. After
Sunday, all registrations will be for individual events only, in cash, at
the door.

Lastly, Philadelphia boasts a REALLY FRIENDLY tango community that welcomes
visitors with open arms. I truly believe you will have a wonderful time if
you join us for our festival! If you have any questions at all, please
don't hesitate to get in touch.

Un beso grande,
Meredith
