Filippo Avignonesi, originally from Rome, Italy, is now based in Berlin. He
has been teaching and performing for over 15 years around the world.
Currently he has been working mainly together with Yulia Yukhina, talent
from Moscow. In the past he has worked together with dancers such as
Alejandra Mantiñan, Alejandra Gutty, Emilia Cerutti, Eliana Sanchez,
Francesca del Buono, Valencia Batiuk, Anna Maria Ferrara, Natalia Ochoa and
several other accomplished dancers. For 2015 he is working together with
Candela Ramos.
In Buenos Aires he learnt from well over 100 different teachers and then
developed his own teaching concept for which he is now sought after around
the world. 

In the lessons besides clarifying any doubts about the basics we will
develop the respective gender role and the relationship between man and
woman as a game which results in a deeper understanding of how to have fun
with together - which will solve most technical difficulties. Understanding
tango as a social system of relations between man and woman. Learning to
take yourselves and the dance less seriously so you can always have fun
together. Musicality, dancing between rhythm and melody, using tension and
expressivity, dancing in a small space, and understanding the structure of
tango for a free improvisation. And of course giving you enough elements to
make your dance a little richer.

Candela Ramos from Buenos Aires started her dance studies in 1996 at the age
of 6. She was formed in Classical, Modern, Contemporary and Performance
dance, and obtained her dance degree in Buenos Aires. She studied Tango
mainly at the famous Estudio DNI-Tango. In the same school she taught Tango
for several years until recently. She currently lives in Berlin, where she
teaches Tango classes and workshops, and also works with Contemporary dance
performing in the Berliner Schaubühne theatre.
