Mary Sigalas re-imagines the classic jazz/blues from the 1920's through the
1950's with the deeply personal depth of a contemporary alternative artist.
Into the performance of classics, Mary weaves originals that meld her love
of jazz and international flavors with her unforgettable vocals. Soulful
and bluesy, smooth and sensitive are all common descriptive words for
Sigalas’s delivery.

Athens Tango Project is a local group committed to bringing Argentine tango
music to the northern hemisphere. Laura Camacho, a veteran of the tango
music scene of Buenos Aires, came to Athens, Georgia to study upright bass.
She quickly found there to be a lack of tango music in the Classic City.
She eventually assembled a group consisting of the vocal talents of Ricardo
Hurado, piano (Fernando Deddos), percussion(John Phillips), violin(Serena
Scibelli), and of course, her native bass. The result is the Athens Tango
Project, a delightfully different trip to another part of the world. Featuring
guest violinist Tereska Grynia.
