[Tango-A] Chicago Mini Tango Festival Update; Early Bird rates end on March 1st

The Chicago Mini Tango Festival again will be at the Hilton Rosemont from April 10 to April 13, 2014. Early Bird Rates to the Festival are available only through this Saturday, March 1, 2014. The 2014 Festival will be a special memoriam to Enriqueta Kleinman. 


The instructors for the 9th annual CmTF include 2013 Tango World Champions - Maximiliano Cristiani and Jesica Arfenoni; Alicia Pons and Luis Rojas, in his first tour of the USA;  Marcela Duran; and Oscar Casas and Ana Miguel.    DJs include Marcela Duran, Mariana Fresno, Hernan Prieto, Linda Valentino, Ray Barbosa,  Ashvin Iyer and several others. More information on the instructors and DJs can be obtained by connecting to

The complete workshop schedule for the Festival now has been published on the website.  We will have ten milongas and practicas, and 34 classes and workshops for Festival attendees, consisting of 24 Festival workshops, three Master
Classes (see details below), the five sessions for the Intensive Beginner Program, a chacarera class and a special session on the history of tango by Eduardo Lazarowski.  http://www.chicagotangofestival.com/Schedule.php

There is limited enrollment for the workshops.  Registration for the workshops has opened and if you haven’t already registered, we encourage you to do so as soon as possible.  Your priority for workshop selection will be based on your
registration date for the Festival.  Once a class reaches its limit, registration for that class will close.
