Long awaited - the legendary Roberto Herrera with Lorena Goldestein in
Washington DC!

Intensive Seminar - 16 hours with Roberto Herrera at DuShor Dance
studios May 9, 10, 11, and 12.

TRACK 1: Traditional Tango Technique and Evolution of Tango. Sequences
from 40th through 80th.
TRACK 2: Mastering You Social Dancing. What it Takes to be a Great
Social Dancer.

Track 1:
This seminar is created to help understanding the coincidences and the
conceptual differences of our Argentine Tango, to integrate into this
large family of tangueros of the past, present, and always. It’s meant
for those who are just learning that Tango is dormant inside of us and
we only need to let it come out, and for those who are already walking
that path of the Argentine culture and only need the floor to
continue. Let us explore together, understanding why Tango is being
danced the way it is, let us go all the way towards the horizon of
Tango….

Track 2:
The social tango, in its various periods, has experienced many changes
brought by the sociocultural side of life. The goal of this seminar is
to understand it in order to be able to practice in a way that allows
us to express ourselves in improvisation. Without it we wouldn’t be
able to move up to that level of energy where the differences in
vocabulary aren’t an obstacle. All we need is the music and another
person to share a 3-minute dream coming true!

WHERE TO STAY
We recommend a beautiful, newly-renovated Double Tree hotel only 2
blocks away form the dance studio (www.doubletreebethesda.com).
We got the same $89 rate as in the winter for Fri and Sat nights, but
due to some other events going on, Thursday and Sunday night rate is
$149/night, which would average out to $119/night if you stay for 4
nights and if you check out on Sunday and stay for 3 nights, your
average daily rate will be $109 per night. It's actually an excellent
rate for this time of the year for this beautiful brand-new hotel. We
heard nothing but great things about the hotel in January during
Chicho's workshops from our out-of-town guests.
The code for booking rooms at our special discounted rate at Bethesda
Doubletree is TE5!

Wish our best wishes,
