CALL FOR DANCERS:  TELEVISION SHOW CALLS FOR DANCERS

WHAT:  The 22Tango Show with Linda Sutton is filming its seventh and eighth seasons and is looking for dancers like you!  The show is looking for dancers (both amateur and professional) in Latin styles:  salsa, mambo, international, and Argentine tango.  In addition, we are looking for lyrical dance teams featuring other styles of up to six members.  We are open to all dance styles.  In the past we have featured CHICAGO STYLE STEPPIN, CLASSICAL INDIAN, FLAMENCO, and WEST AFRICAN, so if you have a world dance group make sure you come out and show out!  We are looking for dance couples and dance groups to feature
throughout the upcoming season.  

WHO:  The 22Tango is a mixed genre relationship show that features the best of Argentine tango culture as well as tango as a metaphor for harmonious and passionate relationships.  The 22Tango Show with Linda Sutton airs on three stations in North Carolina:  Access 21 in Charlotte, Tuesdays at 9:30pm, DCM 18 in Durham, NC, and TPC 8 in Chapel Hill, NC.  The 22Tango Show is looking for dancers for its 13 episodes.  

Be seen on television throughout North Carolina and be seen by production team for an opportunity to be a permanent member of the 2012 22Tango Dance Team!  The Producer is looking for dancers with energy, creativity, style, professionalism, and class!  

WHEN:  On, SUNDAY, OCTOBER 30, 2011 at 6:00 PM, the hostess, international celebrity, Linda Sutton and her production team are
hosting PART ONE:  JUMPSTART of THE 22TANGODANCE COMPETITION looking for the best partner dance talent in the CAROLINAS!  PART
 ONE is our JUMPSTART COMPETITION: for those dancers who believe that they THE BEST and want to get a JUMPSTART on the competition.  Due to nature of television production, those who are LATE OR TARDY to the competition will not be disqualified.  

HOW:  Each dance group (minimum 2 dancers, maximum 6 dancers) must prepare selection of either 90 seconds OR three minutes to perform as a part of the competition.  (Extra consideration is given to groups who have royalty free music.)  The top groups from JUMPSTART will be selected and will perform during the
season taping of the show ON WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 2ND!  If selected to perform, groups have option to prepare both a 90 second and 3 minute selection.  Groups will need to bring an outfit for each choreography so that segments can be shown on different shows.
