[Tango-A] NA-W: Registration now open for Tango Intensives with Alex Krebs in 2012

Hola Tangueros,
   Just a note to let you know that my intensives in Portland, Oregon
in 2012 are now open for registration.  Intensives are limited to 32
people (role-balanced).  All three intensives filled up this past
year.

Tango Intensive Weekends with Alex Krebs in 2012
Over 10 hours of instruction and 3 hours of guided practice time

Dates are confirmed:

January 20th-22nd: "Musicality" -- covering rhythms, styles of
interpretation, feeling, lyricism, phrasing, and overview of the
orchestras/decades. One year of tango experience required.

March 16th-18th: "Extended Vocabulary in a more open embrace" --
covering the solid technical details of leading/following: sacadas,
boleos, ganchos, barridas, volcadas and colgadas. 2 years of
experience is required for this intensive, or pre-approval by Alex.

May 18th-20th: "Technique" -- covering posture, walking, the
embrace/connection, pivots, ochos, molinetes in both close and open
embrace.  8 months of tango experience required.

Workshops run from 6:30-8pm on Friday, 11am-5pm on Sat. and
Sun., and will be held at Tango Berretin, 6305 SE Foster Rd. in
Portland, OR

Cost: $125/person/weekend

Role-balanced and limited to 32 participants.

Please bring lunch on Sat. and Sun.  Followers: bring flat shoes in
addtion to any heels you might bring.

Temporary reservations are made by e-mailing Alex Krebs (tangoberretin
@gmail.com).  Reservations are then confirmed once
payment is made via check to Alex Krebs sent to: Alex Krebs, 6305 SE
Foster Rd., Portland, OR 97206 or via PayPal
(tangoberretin at gmail.com).  Full payment within two weeks of making a
reservation is
required in order to hold a spot.  Refunds are available 4 weeks
before start of each intensive.  If you cancel 2-4 weeks before the
start, you can get your money back if somebody on the wait-list signs
up and pays (Alex will help with this).  No refunds within 2 weeks of
the intensive.
