teacher who has greatly influenced the way tango is danced today in
Buenos Aires!

about Susana Miller
Clarin, one of the top Buenos Aires newspapers, called Susana one of
the four most important influences on contemporary tango, along with
Miguel Angel Zotto, Gustavo Naveira and Gerardo Portalea. She is the
owner of El Beso, a club in the center of Buenos Aires that is known
for the high level of tango danced there. Susana is one of the leading
teachers of "milonguero style," the close embrace style danced in
Buenos Aires clubs. Susan is giving special workshops in New York City
on May 14, 15 and 16, 2011.

The body is the instrument of the dance! Use it well, and everything
else will follow.

4:45pm :: The rhythm is your friend!
You understand each other, laugh at the same jokes, and make each
other look good! Whether you lead or follow, the rhythm helps you
entertain your partner. The steps are your tools!

3:00pm :: Building the story
The steps are the words with which you build the story, from the
alluring opening line to the satisfaction of an interesting finale.

4:45pm :: Milonga Traspie
A dash of traspie will spice up your milonga. Aim for sheer
deliciousness when you both hit the spot.

· Monday, May 16
8:00pm :: Turns and counter turns in the baldosa
Turns are the fountain of versatility and an essential skill in the
pursuit of tango happiness.
