USA TANGO CHAMPIONSHIPS
This is the only sanctioned official branch in the United States of
the main event "Tango Buenos Aires Dance World Cup 2011"
organized by the Ministry of Culture of the Government of the City of
Buenos Aires.

You could be the next American Argentine Tango Champion, and win a
round trip to Buenos Aires
and a free stay to represent the USA at the Semifinal Round at the
“Tango Buenos Aires Festival y Mundial de Baile 2011” in August 2011.

Competitors can participicate in the "Salon Tango" category, which
aims to enrich the dance as a typical porteño practice,
and/or the "Stage Tango" category, which aims to enrich the dance from
a choreographic point of view related to the performance as a show.

In the Salon Tango Category, couples will compete in groups, dancing
three pieces previously selected by the Committee.
In the Stage Tango Category, each couple will compete individually,
dancing to a choreographed song of their choice.
