Tango Fantastico is excited to welcome back Diego Lanau for a single
workshop at our monthly Tango Domingo

Day:  Sunday June 12, 2011
Topic:  Musicality - An exploration of traditional tango music and how it
influences self expression through dance.  Tune your ears to the
conversation between the instruments, the tempo, rhythm, melody and
phrasing.  Feel the conclusion approaching and prepare.

Workshop:  3:00 – 4:30pm
Practica:  4:30 - 6:00pm
Level:  Early Intermediate (remember the focus is musicality)

Fee:  $25 per person, cash (includes practica)
Practica only:  $5 per person

We recommend you suggest this workshop to a  possible partner to help with
gender balance.
Pot Luck Practica:  As with every Tango Domingo we welcome and encourage
attendees to bring light snacks to share.  Napkins, utensils and beverages
will be provided.

Bio:  Negracha & Diego Lanau are dancers from Buenos Aires.  They met in
December 2001 at Tango Week.  Since then they have been dancing in the most
renowned Milongas in Buenos Aires including:  Salon Canning, Confiteria
ideal, Proteno & Bailarin, Parakultural, Maipu 444, Nino Bien, and La
Catedral Glorias.  They have performed with Color Tango of Toberto Alvarez,
Los Reyes del Tango D'Arienzo style, with La Orquesta Gente de Tango, Di
Sarli steyle, La Orquesta Contratiempo, Tipica Imperial, and others.
Negracha and Diego dance a combination of traditional Milonguero and Salon
Style Tango from Buenos Aires, creating their own unique style which
combines the simplicity of Tango Caminado with a refined musical fantasy.
(Negracha is not travelling with Diego on this trip)
