visiting Argentine tango performers/instructors Paula & Mariano from Buenos
Aires, Argentina.

Paula and Mariano were accepted into The Academy of Styles of Argentine Tango
where the most re-known and respected masters taught. This is a school that only
accepted 22 students annually with a full scholarship. The curriculum included,
how to teach, styles, figures, musicality, expression, technique, choreography,
and improvisation. They will be teaching their personal style of tango which
includes the disciplines of different styles to create a particular and
unmistakable style of dancing while using innovative teaching methods to
accelerate the process of learning the dance. Breaking out from rigid sequences,
their workshops provide ways to develop improvisational skills by using simple
yet dynamic exercises which leads the students to explore ways to develop an
easy, relaxed style of dancing. The communication takes place between the
dancers through use of the torso. Both are excellent teachers, very patient,
thorough and accessible, and you will enjoy learning their elegant style which
you can incorporate into your own.
