Argentine Tango USA Official Championship & Festival
21-24 April, 2011 at the San Francisco Airport Marriott Hotel

Argentine Tango USA Championship is the only sanctioned official branch in
the United States of the main event "Tango Buenos Aires Dance World Cup
2011" by the Ministry of Culture of the Goverment of the City of Buenos
Aires.
Everyone can participate at the Festival and at the Competition: the
competition is for both amateur and professional dancers. You can
participate in "Salon Tango" Category, which stresses the social aspect of
the tango dance as a typical porteño practice, or/and in "Stage Tango"
Category, which aims to enrich the dance from a choreographic point of view
related to the performance as a show.

Competition Registration (Salon Tango & Stage Tango Categories):
Early bird closing date February 28, 2011.
Normal Price Registration March 1- April 1, 2011.

Argentine Tango USA Festival
If you do not wish to compete, you can be a spectator and participate in the
festival to enjoy classes, milongas, performances, live music & singing.

Great news! Our championship became the OFFICIAL branch in the USA of the
main competition "Tango Buenos Aires World Cup 2011" sanctioned by the
Ministry of Culture of the Government of the City of Buenos Aires.
Register and particapate!!!

We will hand in the title of American Champion to the winning couples (one
per category: Salon Tango style and Stage Tango) who will win a round trip
to Buenos Aires with a week's stay and will have the right to compete
directly in the semifinals of the Tango Buenos Aires World Cup. Second and
third places will receive Honorable Mentions, a voucher to participate in
Palm Springs Tango Festival and the right to participate in the final round
of the Palm Springs local Competition (registration fee free of charge) in
June 2011.

Registration to the competition will start on January 1, 2011
