[Tango-A] NA-C: Chicago Mini Tango Festival, Early Bird Rate expires March 1st

We have wonderful news to announce regarding the Chicago Mini Tango Festival:

* The "early bird" rate expires in less than two weeks.
* The Festival will be held at the Hyatt Regency O'Hare.  Special Rates are
available until March 24, 2011.
* Special rates on United Airlines and Hertz are available for attendees of
the Festival
* Maria Plazaola will be teaching two Master Classes for advanced dancers.
* "New" this year is a "A Beginner's Bootcamp" to introduce absolute
beginners to Tango
* Vendors added to the Festival

The Early Bird Discount to the2011 Chicago Mini Tango Festival will expire in almost two weeks.   This year’s Festival -- our 6th annual milonguero Festival in Chicago -- will be held at the Hyatt Regency O’Hare  from Thursday, April 14 through Sunday, April 17, 2011.

INSTRUCTORS AND DJS
This year's we plan to have a wonderful group of milonguero instructors from Buenos Aires, including Maria Plazaola, Blas Clemente Catrenau and Enriqueta Kleinman, Ricardo Viqueira, and  Gustavo Benzecry and Maria Olivera.  Djs include: Robert Hauk, Ramu Pyreddy, Linda Valentino, and Derrick Del Pilar.

REGISTRATION
The Early Bird Discount for the Festival will end on March 1st.  The registration link is as follows:  
http://chicagotangofestival.com/Payment_Registration.php .    The Early Bird Discount rate for a full festival pass is $235; for the Saturday Arrival festival pass is $185; and for the full festival student pass is $145.

LODGING
The Festival will be held at a new location this year, the Hyatt Regency O’Hare.  We have obtained a special $115/rate per night for 1-4 people. This rate is available until March 24, 2011 or until our block of rooms are sold out.  The hotel provides complimentary 24 hour shuttle service from O’Hare airport, 24 hour Stay Fit Gym access, and a reduced overnight parking rate. AIR TRAVEL & CAR RENTAL
We have arranged for discounted airfares to Chicago via United Airlines.  For domestic  airline discounts between April 5th and 27th, go www.United.com or call the United Airlines Meeting Services Desk at 1-800-521-4041 and refer to Authorization Number (588DN). SCHEDULE
The Schedule  ( http://chicagotangofestival.com/Schedule.php ) for the Festival has been updated for the classes that will be taught by the instructors at the Festival.  The Schedule is always subject to
change.

MASTER CLASSES
We are delighted to have Maria Plazaloa teach a two-class course on the material of Carlos Gavito for the advanced or master dancer.  Maria was the last partner of Gavito and a close friend. There will be limited enrollment  and requires prior permission.  The classes are not part of the Festival package and are limited to individuals that purchase one of the weekend workshop passes.

BEGINNER BOOT CAMP
This year we plan to have a two day intensive beginner program for those who have never danced tango or for those who have danced for less than 3 to 4 months and need an intensive program.  More

This year's vendors include Betty from Minnesota with her Soft Chocolate line of clothes, and Rommel and Daniela from Phoenix with their Soy Porteno line of dance sneakers.
