Toronto Argentine Tango Associates and Paradiso, K-W Tango and Daigen
Communications, are delighted to sponsor master dancer/teacher Alberto
Dassieu and his partner, Paulina Spinoso, in a special Argentine tango
workshop to be held in Toronto Sept. 24, Sept. 25 & Sept. 26 and in
Kitchener-Waterloo at the Waterloo Community Arts Centre (aka the Button
Factory) on the evening of Tuesday, September 28. 
 
Alberto is the real deal: a Buenos Aires native who has been dancing tango
for nearly 60 years and is one of the most elegant, respected and
knowledgeable performers and teachers of this art form today. We are
extremely fortunate to have him teaching on his first tip to Toronto and
Waterloo-Kitchener as part of his current tour, which also includes Chicago,
Cleveland, Edmonton and Calgary.
 
What will make these workshops special is Alberto's generous, enthusiastic,
and personal approach to conveying the nuances, subtlety, poetry, and
emotion of his dance. He will inspire you to slow down and feel the music in
a way you never have before. Pugliese and D'Arienzo will be featured. Don't
miss this perhaps once in a lifetime opportunity to experience this master's
exceptional interpretation of tango.
