Hola Milongueros

This Tuesday May 18 is the Jewish Holiday of Shavuot marking the receiving
of the Torah.
It is traditional to stay up all night and study Torah. At Cielo, we will
stay as late as possible as long as we have many dancers and study Tango. We
will focus on the letras of the tangos. So if you have a favorite tango and
you know the meaning of the lyrics, you can explain during the cortina and
then I will play this tango for us to dance to. We will also be serving
delicious vegetarian Chinese dishes and sushi as is customary to eat dairy
on this holiday.

Tuesday May 25 we will celebrate the birthday of Arturo Perez Saad. Special
tango & swing performance with Arturo y Jean Migdal. Cake & Champagne:-)

Friday May 28 is my birthday and I will be celebrating and dj'ing at
Ukranian Restaurant in East Village. Festivities will continue on Saturday
May 29 at Lafayette Grill where I will also be the dj.

On Tuesday, Jun 1 - Milonga del Cielo is happy to welcome back Helen la
Vikinga. She will teach a special milonga workshop for all levels.
Performance and la Vikinga will have her shoes on sale.

nos vemos y abrazos
