[Tango-A] NA-W:Tango Live festival in Vancouver BC Canada, April 22-26

Hello Tango Friends!

On April 22nd, the first annual Tango Live festival gets underway in 
beautiful Vancouver BC, Canada!!! Many of your favorite instructors and 
some Portland tango personalities will be there. Jerry Wallach and Joe 
Leonardo will DJ, and Joe will do his fabulous DJ clinic! Our 
instructors include Cecilia Garcia with her new partner Serkan, Andres 
Amarilla and Meredith Klein, Oliver Kolker and Silvina Valz, Mario 
Consiglieri and Anabella Diaz Hojman, Luis Bianchi and Daniella Pucci, 
Adam Hoopengardner and Mila Vigdorova, and Korey Ireland and Jennifer 
Olsen. It is Cecilia's first appearance in our area, so will be 
interesting to see her amazing style and teaching. We have a live 
orchestra appearing TWO nights, led by composer Korey Ireland, and 
featuring Ben Bogart, a fantastic bandoneon player who has been training 
with the masters in BsAs for years, and great pianist Evan Griffiths of 
NYC. There will be 50 classes, packed with great instruction, 3 all 
nighters, matinee milongas, alternative milongas, live music, and people 
from all over the world... in a place that is one of the prettiest 
cities in the world, now better known because of that little event 
called the Winter Olympics.

The dance floor is fantastic too - it is one of the few sprung wooden 
floors in Vancouver, so great for all night dancing.  The main venue has 
two dance floors, one of which will have traditional only milongas with 
TWO nights of live music, and the second floor will have mixed 
traditional and alternative. Go back and forth as you like!
