On Jun 16 2010, LIBERTAD is proud to welcome El Nene y Roxana as guest
teachers and performers.
Don't miss this chance to study Close Embrace Tango – the way it is
danced in Buenos Aires.

Eduardo "El Nene" Masci was born in Buenos Aires in the neighborhood
of Boedo, the seventh son (hence "el Nene") of a family of excellent
dancers. He started to dance tango at the age of 11, and from then on,
he stood out in the most emblematic halls of tango dancing of Buenos
Aires . His particular way of feeling the music and his love for tango
have made him one of the leading dancers of the tango scene.

Roxana L ' Arco, was born in Buenos Aires and spent most of her life
in the United States. With her artistic training and being a tango
dancer by excellence, her very presence, musicality and
interpretation, adds the element that completes this renowned creative
partnership.

Together, Eduardo “El Nene” and Roxana have communicated the purity
and the feeling of our tango moving audiences in Argentina and
inspiring tango dancing in the major cities of Europe and America.

In June 2006, ‘El Nene” Masci, along with the famed Puppy Castello and
"El Flaco" Dany Garcia, participated in one of the most important
Tango shows, "Danza Maligna", a co-production and collaboration
between the Government of the city of Buenos Aires and France. This
successful project took him to Paris, Perpignan, Montpellier and other
European cities, as well as numerous cultural events where he was
acclaimed for his particular milonguero style. This couple has given
exhibitions and workshops in Germany, Netherlands and Spain, spreading
his love for tango and teaching the interpretation of the national
dance form. Together, Eduardo “El Nene” Masci and Roxana L ' Arco form
one of the most beloved couples of the local art scene. About them it
has been heard that they “are”tango.
