The Early Bird Discount to the Chicago Mini Tango Festival (www.chicagotangofestival.com) will expire on February 28, 2010. The festival will be held from Thursday, April 8th, to Sunday April 11th, at the University of Chicago in the Hyde Park section of Chicago.

In addition, we have just added as a guest instructor and performer, Paola Palaia from Rome, Italy.  Her current activity is focused on teaching tango at schools and milongas in Rome, Italy, and she travel regularly in other Italian cities. She specializes in female technique and her teaching is centered on dancing with harmonious development in the milonga as a social space. Additionally, Julian Althabe from Buenos Aires, Paola's partner, will also be at the Festival to present an exhibition of Tango Art.  Julian is an artist with a long history in the Visual Arts and for over ten years has channeled his inspiration in the theme to tango. Early Bird Pricing (purchased by February 28th)
The full festival pass is $225. The Saturday Arrival festival pass is $180 The full festival student pass will be $ 135. One day Friday or Sunday pass is $110.  Saturday all day Pass is $135. The Full Festival pass includes ability to select from up to 20 classes. The four day festival held at the University of Chicago in the classic Hyde Park section of Chicago includes the ability to select from over 20 workshops. There will also be eight milongas (including the Saturday all night milonga, our Saturday Argentina night milonga with wine, empanadas, and fantastic performances, and our special Sunday morning "Eye Opener milonga"). Limited number of Milonga Passes are available for $70.
