A brief bio:A true master of dancing the rhythmic tangos
Jorge commands a sophisticated musicality that senses the appropriate movements
for any given moment within the “compas” of the music.
Heather Whitehead is one of
the most insightful American experts in traditional social Argentine tango. Her
teaching is based upon building the technical elements that make the
communication between leader and follower meaningful, as well upon the musical
interpretation that gives sense to the technique.
Through a very carefully
crafted curriculum of lessons, Jorge’s dance will be presented as a source of
improvement and inspiration for American dancers. The results will be to
provide the students with the wisdom of tango's Golden Age dancing, presented
with teaching expertise and contemporary instructing methods.
