[Tango-A] NA-C: Opposites Attract (Chicago) - Practica moves to Monday, March 9 due to workshops with Claudio Villagra and Romina Levin; shortened version on Sunday

Don't forget the time change - spring forward!

This Sunday, March 8th, only - we are shifting Opposites Attract practica from Sunday (3:00-6:00 p) to Monday (9:00-11:30 p or later) to accomodate workshops on Sunday with Claudio Villagra and Romina Levin, who have been delighting dancers at milongas this week. Sunday they will teach 2 workshops, followed by a shortened practica, at Ritz Tango Café (933 N. Ashland Ave, Chicago -Café tel. 773-235-CAFE (2233):
  1:00–2:30 p for All Levels, ”Barridas and Sacadas”;
  2:45–4:15 p for Intermediate Plus Level, ”Figures and Sequences for Performances” - entrance to this workshop requires pre-approval by Claudio and/orRomina and/or Phoebe; and,
  4:30–6:30 p for All Levels, an abbreviated Opposites Attract Practica ($5 or free with 1 paid workshopor private lesson with Claudio and Romina).

On Monday, March 9th, they will teach 1 class - following the Jorge Neidas' regular Monday beginners class at 6:30 (separate charge from Claudio and Romina classes) before the Opposites Attract practonga at the Ritz Tango Cafe:
  7:30–9:00 p for All Levels, ”Volcadas” ($20 walk-in; $15 with pre-registration; $10 if included in total of pre-paid package); 
  followed by Opposites Attract practonga, 9:00–11:30 p or later; entrance to Practonga $10, but Practonga is free to anyone taking at least one paid workshop and/or or private lesson with Claudio and Romina, March 4-10, 2009.

Opposites Attract practica will return to its regular schedule, from 3:00 - 6:00 p, nextSunday, March 15, at Ritz Tango Café (933 N. Ashland Ave, Chicago -Café tel. 773-235-CAFE (2233) - with hot and cold beverages and light refreshments available for purchase, similar to CaféDuvall.Our regular practica pricing will apply: $10 walk-in, $8 with
reservation to either Phoebe or Jacqui prior to noon on Sunday; packages available for multiple sessions (e.g., $35 for 5 practicas).  

And, if you want to stay and dance more, you can enjoy TANGO MATINEE at the Ritz Café every Sunday with alesson at 7:00 p prior to milonga which goes until midnight; $10 (includes milonga); BYOB (liquor license pending).
