Seattle-
Dance to live music on Saturday, September 12th

   Featuring.....
Master bandoneon player- Daniel Diaz &
    Bajo-Sexto player- Juan Barco

Daniel Diaz, master bandoneon player, plays this instrument that
argentines adopted for tango in the 19th century and it is still today,
the instrument that gives tango its soul.
Juan Barco accompanies Daniel Diaz on a unique instrument mostly know
for its sound in Tex-Mex music. The Bajo-Sexto. This bass rich
instrument of 12 strings, fills in full the rhythmical portion of tangos
canyengues, milongas and valses, One instrument that sound like one
bass player and two guitarists, which, by the way, was the early typical
ensemble for tango. The duo will play music of that era and will
transport dancers and the audience to the early times of tango
1860-1910.
