Fernanda Ghi and Guillermo Merlo are excited about the unique workshop
with a fresh approach and
concept they have designed for advanced dancers.

The goal of this intense workshop is to help advanced dancers go to
even a higher level in tango and
to clean and perfect what they already know.

Aspects of this uniquely different workshop are (but not limited to):
- seeking movement from a pure place not from a style
- creating movement without having to think about it
- dance as movement without the necessity of a step
- dynamics within the couple, roles and function
- and for fun...expansion and compression technique in sacadas and
ganchos.

Fernanda Ghi and Guillermo Merlo, renowned international performers,
teachers, producers, and choreographers,
have appeared on stage throughout the world and on television.
Guillermo was nominated for a TONY award
for his choreography for "Forever Tango". Fernanda created the
choreography for the opening night of the famed
Tulsa Ballet Company's tango. They are the only non-Asian dancers
invited to perform at the Imperial Theater in Tokyo.
In constant demand at all tango festivals and congresses, they are
consistently sold out whenever they perform in Europe and Asia.
They are famous for their inspirational presence and precise
technique... and are one of the most charming, friendly and humorous
couples in tango.

This is their first workshop in L.A. in two years and it is exciting to
have the opportunity to study with them.

The workshop is on Saturday, August 15 from 2 to 5PM.
Cost is $50 per person

They will be available for privates starting Thursday Aug 13.
To reserve your space in the workshop or to schedule a private, please
