[Tango-A] NA-C: Reminder! Gustavo & Maria tango workshop in Memphis, TN - May 8-10, 2009

Tango Friends,

MATS is pleased to welcome master instructors, Gustavo and Maria, to 
Memphis, TN for weekend workshops May 8-10. Visit memphistango.org for the

For those of you not familiar with Gustavo and Maria, their popularity in 
Argentina, America, and Europe assures us all of a very informative learning 
experience delivered with a great sense of fun!   Check out a few of their

Weekend festivities begin on Friday, May 8 at 7pm with a documentary 
presentation produced by Gustavo followed by a Practice Party.  We welcome 
everyone interested in tango and/or other dances to come and share the fun! 
Music at the Practice Party will be mainly classic tango with a smattering 
of other dance music and expert demonstrations of other dances.  The 
admission is $10 per person and includes the Practice Party.

On Saturday, May 9, the schedule includes two 90-minute workshops beginning 
at 1PM and 3PM, and a Milonga beginning at 9:00 PM.
The Sunday schedule includes two workshops (beginning at 1:00 & 3:00 PM).

The Advance Registration fee for Fri, Sat and Sun (incl Sat milonga), is 
$100 (or $50 for full-time high school and college students with valid I.D.) 
The advance registration discount applies to paid registrations postmarked 
by April 29, 2009.  If not registering for the All Event Pass, individual 
workshops are $30 each (students, $15) or $50 per day. The Milonga is $10 
(students, $5), payable at the door.

Gustavo and Maria will be teaching group classes on Tues and Wed evenings as 
well.  Limited hours remain for private lessons, so be sure to contact

Try not to miss this sure-to-be fun weekend of tango activities, a rarity in 
the Memphis area.
