An Argentine Tango Weekend With Charles Reder

Charles Reder, one of the most sought after dancers around the country,
teaches Argentine Tango in Cincinnatti with his long-time partner Debby
Vigna. Presently they are concentrating on basic elements of axis and
balance to refine the dance. Over the past ten years, Charles has studied
with most of the greats, including Julio y Corina, Susana Miller, Alicia
Pons, Cacho Dante and Tomas Howlin. More recently he has been studying with
Gustavo Naveira, Fabien Salas, Alex Krebs, Luciana Valle, and Tete Rusconi.
In Memphis, Charles will use his articulate teaching style to explore
elements of the dance rather than patterns or figures so that we may
integrate them into our dance vocabulary. All elements are useful in both
close and open embrace but emphasis will be on material for the social
floor.
