It is rare to find a tango festival that focuses exclusively on tango
milonguero, the social tango danced in the milongas of Buenos Aires.
The Tango Society of Central Illinois is dedicated to the promotion of
social tango as danced in Buenos Aires, the birthplace of tango. Our
festivals attract dancers from all around the Midwest and some from
beyond.
