Damian Lobato

Damian Lobato, originally from Buenos Aires,  is a tango dancer of
exceptional skill and musicality on the dance floor.  As an
instructor, his keen sensitivity to body movement and connection,
awareness of space and a playful sense of musicality make classes
inspiring and filled with important tools for your dance.   He works
beautifully in close embrace with both simple and complex figures, and
can shift seamlessly from close to open embrace and back again.
Damian spent the last 2 years teaching and dancing in England, and is
currently on tour in the US through December.  He was partnering with
Jennifer Olsen of Portland, OR in the beginning of the tour, and now
continues to teach on his own.  He has extensive knowledge of both
close-embrace and milonguero style dance and is also on the cutting
edge of the most "nuevo" tango movements.
