Special Event with Kara and Nina at
Café Duvall, located at 2257 West 23rd Place in Chicago

The Florida Chamber Orchestra (FCO) will collaborate with director
Michele Kadison and company members Kara Wenham and Nina Tatarowicz to
present the world premiere tango ballet, "Eurydice Ascending".
Using the corporal vocabulary of Tango, the ballet is based on the
myth of Orpheus and Eurydice, focusing on Eurydice's evolution from
vain Milonguera to a realized woman through her voyage to the
underworld/unconscious.
With a score created by NY composer, Jeff Tang, the music for the
ballet will be performed by the Florida Chamber Orchestra.


Prices* and Schedule:

Class 8pm - 9pm: $12
Ganchos (woman to man) - Structure, technique and musicality in ganchos.

Milonga 9pm- 1am: $10 (without class) and $8 (incl. class)
Silent auction: private lessons with Kara, Nina and Somer.

*All proceeds from the class, milonga and silent auction will be
considered as donations for the Eurydice Ascending Project and are
fully tax-deductible.

All further donations to the Eurydice Ascending Project will be
greatly appreciated and listed in our program flyer.
