[Tango-A] NA-E: Anton Gazenbeek & Elias "Rody" Navas in Boston This Weekend (15-16 Sep)

Boston is pleased announce Special workshops this weekend with Anton Gazenbeek (assisted by Sergio Segura) and Elias "Rody" Navas.  Complete details are found in the Boston Tango Calendar at www.bostontango.org.  Brief details are below:

Saturday

Anton & Sergio will deliver a unique "Learning from the Past Systems Workshops" in which they will present material on different styles of dance championed by former Tangueros such as Antnio Todaro and Raul Bravo and how they influence Tango as danced today, and have students try the dance systems themselves.  The workshops, accompanied by footage from the past, will take place from 12:30 to 4:30pm and are appropriate for ALL LEVELS.

La Milonga (8:30 pm -1 am)--Anton will give an exhibiton at Boston's oldest social dance, "LA MILONGA," on Saturday evening. Exquisite hors d'ouevres and refreshments will also be provided.

Sunday

Elias "Rody" Navas will teach workshops in intermediate Tango, Intermediate Vals & Advanced Tango.  The workshops will cover a variety of techniques, including boleos, sacadas, close embrace, colgadas & enrosques. The workshops start at 12:30 until 4:45.

Location for all events will take place at Springstep, 98 Geo P. Hassett Dr, Medford Sq (Exit 32, I-93).
