[Tango Éclectique]

*1- November 16 9:30pm* *Forever Tango's former pianist Victor Simon and
special guests at Milonga Forever Young (concert milonga)*

*Victor Simon, born in Argentina and settled in Quebec, Canada from 1997. He
is the director and founder of Ensemble Montreal Tango. A highly skilled
pianist trained at Cordoba University in Argentina, he also studied
composition and is responsible for all the arrangements and originals
compositions in the Ensemble;s repertoire. A recipient of numerous awards as
a pianist, Victor also taught music at the National University of Santiago
del Estero. The pianist creates energetic, finely nuanced arrangements that
showcase the talents of each member of the trio, resulting in music that
ranges from suavely romantic to hot and pulsing.
Whether he is playig in a recording studio, giving a public perfomance or
touring, as he did with the National Folklore Ensemble of Argentina or the
American company « Forever Tango », Victor Simon is renowned for his passion
for the tango and the sensivity with which he interprets it.

*2- November  19 and November 20 6:30pm* *Tango Concert by New Tango
Ensemble  "Tangos Futuros" at Instituto Cervantes Auditorium*

*New Tango Ensemble* was created in Barcelona, Spain by Argetine musicians
Rodolfo Zanni and Néstor Eidler. With the title Future Tangos, their
objective is to promote and spread the knowledge of what Astor Piazzolla
once called "The music of Buenos Aires". This music is currently a source of
inspiration for new and interesting productions. Their repertoire includes
traditional tangos specially adapted for New Tango Ensemble.

**New Tango Ensemble* nació en Barcelona y fue creado por *Rodolfo Zanni* y
*Néstor Eidler*. Con el subtítulo de ''Tangos futuros'', sus objetivos son
los de difundir y dar impulso a lo que Astor Piazzolla llamó ''la Música de
Buenos Aires'', que hoy en día es fuente de inspiración de nuevas e
interesantes producciones.  También integran su repertorio tangos
tradicionales en versiones especialmente preparadas para el '*'New Tango
Ensemble*''. En el concierto del 19 de noviembre New Tango Ensemble
interpretarán música judía y sefardí. En el concierto del 20 de noviembre
New Tango Ensemble interpretarán la música de *Astor Piazzolla*.
