Dear Tango Aficionados,

We are about to begin our October/November TangoIntensivo™ sessions with
Luciana Valle. We’re looking forward to seeing old friends, meeting new
ones, getting our butts kicked as needed, and further exploring the
structure and technique of tango under Luciana’s guidance, and with the
incredible support of our talented young staff assistants.

A NEW LOWER-COST SHORT-DURATION OPTION

As we’ve been assembling the staff for the programs for the next few weeks,
we’ve decided to offer a few places for people whose situations may only
allow them to attend half of a session, rather than the full 25-hour
program. Since each six-day program unfolds as a whole, it isn’t possible
to come in after the beginning, but it would be possible to take just the
beginning of one of the programs, and then “opt out early”. As it turns
out, we do have trained staff available for part of each program, but who
aren’t available to work with us for an entire program. Creating
“half-sessions” like this makes it possible for us to bring on trained staff
we’d otherwise have to miss working with completely. It also allows us to
offer a taste of the program to those (and we’ve heard from some of you!)
who may have seen a full session as logistically unworkable.

The new program options are best suited for someone who will be in Buenos
Aires already, but is looking to invest a couple of days to discover what so
many people have found so valuable about our TangoIntensivo programs. With
the guidance of our brilliant maestro Luciana Valle, and the talented,
capable and supportive staff assistants (one per student) we’ve developed a
unique structure for your tango learning, and the repeat business we
generate is testimony to its value. Since February 2005, we’ve offered
these programs nine times already, and the upcoming sessions will bring it
to an even dozen! Some people have returned to join us as many as five
times in three years! Full information about the programs can be found at
our website at www.danceoftheheart.com <http://www.danceoftheheart.com/>
under “TangoIntensivos”.

SO HERE’S THE DEAL

For a cost of US$325, you can sign up for one of the following options:

Monday October 22nd – Wednesday October 24th (12.5 hrs, 2 ½ days) First Half
of Intensivo “A”

Monday October 29th – Wednesday October 31st (12.5 hrs, 2 ½ days) First Half
of Intensivo “B”

Thursday November 8th – Saturday November 10th (12.5 hrs, 2 ½ days) First
half of Intensivo Al Cuadrado (more advanced; contact us first for placement
– you must be familiar with Luciana’s teaching from previous work with her).

Some of the sessions are already close to capacity, so we won’t be able to
extend too many of these offers – we’re still getting enrollments in for the
full sessions. But the sooner we hear from you, the better!

If these options sound interesting to you, please contact us as soon as
possible by return email. We can work out payment details to accommodate
your situation in Buenos Aires, but the sooner we know of your plans, the
more easily we can accommodate you.

See you in Buenos Aires!

Abrazos,

Brian Dunn (& Deb Sclar)
